Remnant Protected

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rearward. (Isaiah 58:8)

For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rearward. (Isaiah 52:12)

And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: (Exodus 14:19)

In the KJV the word rearward is spelled "rereward" but this is auto-corrected to rearward and I'm fine with that. Those who are helping the needy will not be fleeing in terror when they are called out of Babylon. Jehovah will be our rear guard, he will preserve us from death and suffering if we live to to the close of probation. Jesus is calling his people out of Babylon, the system of religious confusion and into his remnant church. As God protected the Israelites in the desert, he will protect the remnant as the end of time.
